The Gold Rush

The World Famous Historic Brothel Museum & Saloon

Built at the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, the Red Onion was run by a succession of madams — women as shrewd in business as they were colorful in reputation.

Upstairs, ten small "cribs" served the stampede of prospectors. Today, those rooms remain meticulously preserved, telling the unfiltered stories of the women who controlled the frontier.
