Common Questions
Frequently Asked
The restaurant and bar are walk-in only, first come first served! While we sometimes get a waitlist during lunch, things generally move along quickly.
We recommend booking in advance, especially for the Ghost & Goodtime Girls Walking Tour which sells out frequently. We offer several of the “Quickie” Brothel Museum tours a day, starting at 10 or 10:30 am, and wrapping up at 5 or 5:30. Please inquire at the gift shop for day-of tickets.
The ground-floor restaurant and bar are accessible. The upstairs brothel museum is located on the 2nd floor of the building and is roughly 25 steps up and down.
The Brothel Museum Tour discusses the history of prostitution in a historical context. It's educational but may not be suitable for young children. The Ghost & Goodtime Girls Walking Tour is recommended for those 14 and up.
The Brothel Museum is indoors, so rain is no problem. The Walking Tour operates rain or shine — this is Alaska, after all. We recommend layers and a rain jacket regardless of the forecast. The restaurant and bar are a great place to warm up afterward.
Most visitors arrive on foot from the cruise dock. If you're driving, there is free street parking on Broadway and surrounding streets. Skagway is a very walkable town — everything in the historic district is within a few blocks.
A Brothel Museum Tour takes about 20 minutes. Add a meal and a Reindeer Fart Shot and you're looking at about an hour total. If you want to do a tour, eat, and browse the gift shop, plan for 1.5-2 hours. The Ghost Tour is a separate 60-minute evening experience.
